Easter and some other things...

Happy Easter! It was a great day to spend some time outdoors hunting eggs. Every year Waycos parents to an Easter egg hunt with the kids. Except a few of the kids are out growing the whole idea, but theres still two little ones who love it. While we were riding the Mule the Easter bunny came!!
Here's Arlee checking out her basket full of candy!
The girls with their stuff, the sun was in their eyes, opps.
And the hunt began.
I'm going backwards, this was Easter morning Arlee woke up and the Easter Bunny had came to our house.  Here she is checking out her stuff.

Here's her in her Hair Stylist costume with her Barbie
Saturday we did Easter with my family, we decorated eggs, had a cookout, and planned on taking Arlee to an egg hunt.  But it rained and rained and rained so it was called off!  Dang it!  So we hid eggs in the house.  Here's Arlee decorating eggs and grandma and grandpas.

Here's mommas new haircut!
I am getting really bad about blogging, I get so far behind I don't know where to start to play catch up.  It's been really busy, as always at our house.  We have been remodeling our downstairs bathroom, finally!!  Arlee has been a big help for Daddy.  She enjoys helping no matter what. We have also been prepping our backyard for the pool, we had to tear down an enormous tree our fence, and hopefully by May we will have the pool in and be swimming.

We have been talking about pre-school for Arlee, so we went to an open house at St. Pats church a few weeks ago, Arlee loved it and we loved it.  The teachers are really nice and it helps one of them is Wayco's cousin.  She will start in September and go 3 days a week from 8-10:30.  I'm a little worried because Arlee is a sleeper, she sleeps til 8-8:30 most days.  She's not going to like being woke up.  It's crazy to me that shes getting to be such a big girl.  I can barely even carry her anymore.  She is so self sufficient, cleans her room, puts her dishes away, gets dressed on her own.  Geez she doesn't even need me!
Arlee started gymnastics a few months ago and is really enjoying it.  She goes once a week for about 45mins.  She loves jumping on the trampoline, and doing somersaults.  We have also started storytime at the library.  My g-ma takes her to that.  I figured the interaction with kids is what she needs to prepare for pre-school.
Some of Arlee favorite things to do at the moment:
Wear dresses and skirts during the day and at night.
Anything princess
play dress up
talk about her made up friends??
Play Barbies
Tell me NO
Feed the animals
Use her play scissors and her cutting book
Stickers stamps and coloring
